North Salem

North Salem has done well to preserve the rural atmosphere that make it a beautiful, peaceful place to call home. Residents are content to leave its borders for their commercial needs, preferring to maintain the precious open space.

The Commute

Residents can take trains from nearby stations at Goldens Bridge, Purdy's or Croton Falls to Grand Central. Train rides range from 65 to 80 minutes during peak hours.

The Place to Go

Old Salem Farm is one of the most celebrated horse farms in the country, hosting many national competitions. It's also home to some of the top trainers and riders in the world.

The Landscape

North Salem has an abundance of rolling hills, open fields and farmland. Many large estates provide tremendous horseback terrain.
